The Ice Dance team of Natalie Robinson (Ridgetown) and Chase Ireland Heidt (Chatham), have been skating together for over a year under the direction of their coaches Connie and Nick Toth, and were recently selected for the Elite Select Team.

The Ice Pair have just moved up to the Pre Novice level and have started the season out with great success. They have been selected to be on the Elite Select Team, which includes the top 10 dance teams in Ontario and is a huge honour.

In order to qualify for this team this duo had to compete in the Skate Ontario Super Series competitions which included a competition in Ottawa where they competed against top teams from across Canada and placed 9th in the pattern dance and 9th in the Free Dance.

The other competition was in Kitchener Waterloo where they placed 5th in the pattern dance and 4th in the Free Dance just .6 points behind 2nd place and .4 behind 3rd.

They now qualify to compete in the finals at the Autumn Skate in Ottawa on October 2, 2014.

Their goal for this season is to place in the top 4 at the Western Ontario Section Competition in Sarnia on November 7, 2014 which will qualify them to compete in the Canadian Championships for the Pre Novice level held in Pierrefonds Quebec on December 3, 2014.
