With another week in the books, there is a new team looking to take over the top power position in the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League. Where did last week’s number one, the Lakeshore Canadiens fall to? Mark Hagerman lays it out in CKSN’s Week Two Great Lakes Junior C Power Rankings.

The 73’s finish a light week with a shutout win and add depth to their roster with the return of Phil Janikoski.
Record: 4-1-1-0

Lakeshore-Canadiens-Logo

#3 Lakeshore Canadiens / Last Week #1

With one game in the books this week the Canadiens loss will be the Sharks gain. The Habs will need to stick to 3 periods of diciplined hockey.

Blenheim-Blades-Alternative-Logo #4 Blenheim Blades / Last week #5

After being shut out twice the Blades go back to square one. Keeping it simple and line modifications bring positive results.

The Admirals only game this week would see them fall to the Sharks. Dicipline and focus will prevent losses in these close contests.

Dresden split their meetings this week but continue with solid play that will only make them one tough customer mid season.

Alvinston is using their aggresive system and speed to press oponents. Three consitent periods will get them the results they seek.

The Flags are a few players from being a 500 team. With the A and B teams firming up Mooretown may find the peices it needs to complete the puzzle.

The Lakers continue to look for their first win. It may be closer than they think. Hard work does pay off.
