CKSN is running our first ever Photo Contest! Sponsored by Kelsey Captures, we’re looking for your best sports photo from the last year.

It can be an action shot, a team photo, or a still photo of sports equipment, players, or a local sports facility. Send us your photo, and you could win!

Prize

If you win? Well, your team will receive a FREE photo shoot from Kelsey Captures, where owner Kelsey Vermeersch will attend one of your local games, or a team of your choices game, and take action shots of your team. You’ll receive digital copies of all photos taken at the game, or practice if you prefer, by Kelsey Captures.

How to Enter

So how do you enter? SEND US YOUR PHOTO! Simple right? Email photos to submissions@cksn.ca, message the Chatham-Kent Sports Network on Facebook (www.facebook.com/cksportsnetwork), or Tweet or Instagram a photo to us by mentioning @cksportsnetwork. As well, please tell us what your photo is of and about.

Contest Rules

  1. All photos must be owned and by the entrant. In other words, don’t submit a photo you didn’t take.
  2. Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 photos.
  3. Photos must have been shot between January 1, 2014, and the date of your submission.
  4. By submitting, you are allowing CKSN.ca to repost or publish your photos on CKSN.ca, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Entrants retain copyright of the image, but grant both CKSN.ca and Kelsey Captures license to use your photo for all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
  5. To be eligible to win, you must be willing to provide your legal name, phone number, and email address.
  6. Contest Closes November 15.

Judging

Not all photos submitted will be automatically entered into our public vote. CKSN’s editorial staff, and Kelsey Vermeersch will screen all photos and select up to 20 photos to be judged. Photos will be selected on the following criteria: 1. Chatham-Kent content, 2. Photographic Quality. 3. Description provided.

Following the editorial screening, all photos will be voted on by the public via CKSN.ca, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. All “likes” on Facebook and Instagram, “retweets” on Twitter, and comments on CKSN.ca will count as votes.

Voting will close December 1.
