The Chatham-Kent Secondary School Senior Boys Volleyball team are building toward a run at their third consecutive OFSAA ‘AAA’ gold medal.

With each tournament win they collect, they put another brick in that foundation. This past weekend, the CKSS boys volleyball senior team took their third tournament title of the season, winning the Toronto Showcase.

Held at St. Michael’s College School and Upper Canada College on Friday and Saturday, the Toronto Showcase tournament featured twelve of the best teams in the province, who were hand picked to participate.

“Great group of guys whose athleticism match their work ethic,” says coach Tim Liedl. “They are doing their best and improving all the time. That’s all coaches can ask for.”

The CKSS boys volleyball, senior team, beat Regiopolis in the quarters (25-22, 24-26, 15-12), and Bill Crothers in the semis (25-22, 25-10), before facing Eden in the finals, where the CKSS Golden Hawks won 25-20, 25-14.
