EnviroClean Cougar of the Week: Julian Ferrell
Julian Ferrell, who plays for the Enviro-Clean Car & Dog Wash Chatham-Kent Cougars fall minor football team, is the Chatham-Kent Cougars Player of the Week, sponsored by Enviro-Clean Car & Dog Wash for the Week ending October 3.
Ferrell had a great game to open the Fall football schedule, leading the Enviro-Clean Car and Dog Wash team to 39 points against the Exercise MD Wallaceburg Bantams.
“Julian is a true asset to his team,” says his coach Kori Henderson. “With focus, hard work, and dedication he will someday prove himself to be a great QB. I look forward to seeing Julian grow as our Enviro-Clean Car and Dog Wash (McGregor) bantam team QB. He is sure to show everyone what he is truly capable of this season. Great job Julian.”
Part of four touchdowns, either throwing or rushing in the first week, Ferrell also rushed for over 100 yards, including an incredible 65-yard run where he broke 7 different tackles. On defense, Ferrell also contributed making 4 tackles.
