Seth Griffith Recalled To Bruins, Will Make NHL Debut

Griffith skated with the Boston Bruins top line of David Krejci and Milan Lucic at Sunday’s morning skate, prior to the Boston Bruins’ game Monday against the Colorado Avalanche at 1pm. He was called up Sunday prior to the game.
“Pretty exciting,” Griffith said of his recall. “If I get the chance to play tomorrow, it’ll be one of my dreams come true.”
Griffith had one goal in two games with the AHL’s Providence Bruins and was plus three. He scored multiple times for the Boston Bruins in the NHL preseason this year.
Last season, Griffith scored 20 goals and 30 assists for Providence.
Although lining up with the Bruins is no sure thing, Griffith being the first player recalled to the Bruins this season bodes well for his prospects of playing significant time in the NHL this season.
