The Chatham Maroons have sent forward Hunter Burk to the Blenheim Blades, re-assigning the 1997 born winger.

After earning a regular shift for the Chatham Maroons early in the season, Burk has only dressed sporadically for the Chatham Maroons in recent weeks.

The Cedar Springs, Ontario resident played 12 games for the Maroons this season, collecting one assist and 4 penalty minutes.

Last season Burk played for Hill Academy in London. The six-foot tall forward is also an alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones organization, where he last played in 2012-2013, recording 6 goals, 8 assists and 93 penalty minutes in 43 games for the Cyclones. Burk is also a Blenheim & District Minor Hockey Association alumni.

Blenheim’s lineup contineus to see changes after the team added veterans Mike Myers, Jordan Durston, and Kirk McKillop, and said goodbye to Zach Horvath and Austin Bentley in recent weeks.

Chatham made the move in response to signing veteran OHL goaltender Jake Patterson this week.
