Woodman Named OUA First Team All-Star
Woodman had 18 solo tackles for the Mustangs this season, and 2 assisted tackles.
He also led the OUA in interceptions this season, picking off 5 passes. On top of his interceptions, Woodman also had 5 broken up passes throughout the season.
The fourth year student is a former Chatham-Kent Cougars and London Beefeaters player, who played 8 games for the Mustangs this season, after playing 2 games for Western in 2013-2014. Woodman is also an Ursuline College Chatham graduate.
Josh Woodman and the Western Mustangs finished third in the OUA this season with a 6-2 record.
Western then beat Wilfrid Laurier in the OUA quarterfinals, a game in which Woodman had 3.5 tackles and 2 broken up passes, helping Western to the 25-10 decision.
In the OUA semi-final, Western fell 51-26 to the Guelph Gryphons, with Woodman picking up 2 tackles.
