Cyclones Named To Alliance All-Star Rosters
The Alliance Hockey All-Star weekend is slated to run December 6-7 in Waterloo, Ontario. The Alliance announced their all-star rosters for the bantam, minor midget, and major midget games.
At the midget level, two Chatham-Kent Cyclones players were selected to compete on the four Minor Midget teams. Forwards Carter Wright of Chatham, and Tyler D’Alessandro of London were the two Cyclones chosen.
Wright is currently 5th on the Cyclones in scoring with 3 goals and 4 assists in 19 games. Wright also leads the Cyclones in penalty minutes with 88. He’ll play for Team Blue at the All-Star weekend. D’Alessandro leads the Cyclones in scoring with 5 goals and 5 assists in 22 games.
At the bantam level, Colton Shoemaker, a defenseman from the Chatham-Kent Cyclones, was named to the all-star roster.
Another local, Alec Dekoning, will play in the Minor Midget All-Star game.
