Lancers, Hawks Tune Up For Rematch

The Lancers defeated the Wallaceburg Tartans 9-0, paced by Sydnee Baker’s four goals, and a pair from Alex Mungar.
Other scorers in the game for UCC were Lauren Nicholson, Madison Lalonde, and Jadeyn Martin.
In Dresden, the CKSS Golden Hawks allowed only 5 shots against in what turned out to be a slow offensive night.
Shayna Daly scored the game winning goal early in the first period, poking home a rebound, with Brooke Foster assisting on the play.
With the wins, the Lancers and Golden Hawks remain 1-2 in the LKSSAA standings . The duo, who played to a 2-1 decision in UCC’s favour a week ago, will face off again Monday, December 8 in Chatham at Erickson Arena.
