I have the pleasure of having Joseph Raaymakers as one of my students at NDS in Sault Ste Marie. I am one of those strange canadians that doesn’t follow hockey and so I don’t feel qualified to comment on his athletic achievements. However, as a human being and an observer of character I must say that Joseph is a remarquable person. His maturity surpasses his age and humility is unmatched. He is an excellent role model for all young people, not just athletes. I strongly recommend this young gentlemen for Athlete of the Year, 2014.

Joseph has been a great addition to the Notre-Dame-du-Sault family. He is a great leader for his fellow students. He is also a very talented goaltender yet remains very humble. Vote for Joseph!

What a great addition to the Soo Greyhounds Joseph Raaymakers has been! To come in and play with confidence that belies his age in the pressure-cooker that is Major Jr. A hockey is no easy feat. Vote Joseph Raaymakers..I did.

having watched Joseph Raaymakers since training camp and up to now his body language on the ice shows me he knows this is his first yr and has to work hard not only to imress his coaches but to progress his own development to a smooth transfer to become the starting or no1 goalie of the soo greyhounds in the near future. good luck Joseph!

Mr Raaymakers is a super young goalie who will be talked about in the OHL. There is going to be a very lucky NHL team when it comes time for draft. He , I believe will go high. Soo Greyhounds need not worry about who they put in net any given NITE. We have two super goalies. Congrats making it to final four so now all that matters is for Joseph to be declared the winner.
