In fact, all you may be able to tell, is the Wallaceburg Lakers will finish last, and Essex 73s will finish first, and face the Mooretown Flags to open the playoffs.
In fact, from 4th to 7th in the Great Lakes standings, only 2-points separate the teams. Wheatley and Blenheim both sit with 36-points through 35 games, while Alvinston has 35-points in 34 games, and the Dresden Kings have 34-points in 34 games.
Closer to the top, only 4-points separate second place Amherstburg and third place Lakeshore.
This weekend, a number of key matchups will take place as Lakeshore and Alvinston play what should be sure fire games against Mooretown and Alvinston.
More notably, the Dresden Kings and Wheatley Sharks faceoff Saturday in what the hockey world calls a 4-point game. Sunday, a key matchup to watch in Blenheim hosting the Lakeshore Canadiens.
With seven games this weekend involving playoff teams, the picture should be more clear heading into the final week of the season.
