Trent Fox Climbs NHL Central Scouting List
Not previously listed, Fox, whose older brother Dane Fox signed with the Vancouver Canucks last year, has spent most of the season among the OHL’s top 10 in rookie scoring. His ranking positions him against North American skaters only, with International skaters, as well as goaltenders on separate lists.
Originally drafted by the Erie Otters, Fox spent the first 35 games of this season in an Otters uniform before being dealt to the Bulls in a blockbuster deal.
Fox, who stands six-foot-two, has 8 goals and 23 points in 41 OHL games this season.
He spent last season playing for Ridley College, a private school near Toronto, and is an alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ organization.
The 2015 NHL Entry Draft will take place June 26-27 in Sunrise, Florida.
