Chatham’s Chad Laprise remained undefeated in his professional fighting career, beating Bryan Barberena in UFC 186 Saturday night in Montreal, Quebec.

“It was a good fight for me mentally,” said Laprise following the fight. “I’ve pretty much dominated everyone I’ve ever fought, but he was my toughest fight.”

Laprise was unable to knockout Barberena as some predicted he would, but took the unanimous decision for the win 29-28, 29-28, 30-27.

“If you see my performances, I’m fighting tougher guys each time, and I’m still winning, so I’m obviously doing something right,” said Laprise. “I’m getting better, you know I’m 3-0 in the UFC now, so I’m sure my next fight will be pretty tough.”

The win improved Chad Laprise to 3-0 in the UFC, and 10-0 professionally.

Dresden’s Chris Clements was also on the card, losing a unanimous decision to Nordine Taleb 30-27, 30-27, 30-27 to fall to 2-2 in the UFC, and 12-6 professionally.
