Laprise, Clements On Deck For UFC 186

Chatham’s Chad Laprise and Dresden’s Chris Clements will both fight this weekend as a part of UFC 186 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

Laprise will be fighting on the preliminary card against Bryan Barberena. Laprise, who won The Ultimate Fighter Nations, will put his 9-0 professional record on the line in the lightweight bout. In his UFC debut in October, Laprise beat Yosdenis Cedeno by a unanimous decision.

Clements, a welterweight, will fight Nordine Taleb in his fifth UFC fight.

The veteran fighter carries a 12-5-1 professional record, including two wins, a loss, and a no decision record at the UFC level.

A UFC Flyweight Championship fight between current champion Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi will headline the event.
