This past weekend, the Chatham Y Pool Sharks had 36 swimmers compete at the Year End SEAL Championship at Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre in Windsor. 5 Pool Shark swimmers finished in the Top 3 overall for their age group while the team finished 2nd overall in points out of 7 teams in the SEAL League.

Congratulations to Jack Gillis (1st Boys 12-13), Gracie Reaume (Tied for 1st Girls 10-11), Sean Curl (1st Boys 10-11), Connor Cartier (2nd Boys 10-11), and Noah Matteis (1st Boys 7 & Under).

Coach Bailey stated that, “the swimmers have been working on improving their turns, starts and overall technique this season. It is great to see the hard work of the Pool Shark swimmers pay off with the amazing results both in the standings and personal best times in their races.”

Numerous swimmers also ranked in the Top 8 in their individual swims. Congratulations to Alexa Arbour, Madison Broad, Connor Cartier, Alexis Cockburn, Sean Curl, Evan Deleary, Matthew Eddington, Clare Gillis, Jack Gillis, Averie Gobert, Noah Matteis, Quinn Matteis, Connor McFadden, Evan Moore, Georgia Pitblado, Gracie Reaume, Carter Sarson, Gabriel Sasseville, Alex Thiel and Ethan Vinagre.
