UCC, CKSS Set Up All Chatham Final In Girls Soccer

The UCC Lancers and CKSS Golden Hawks will square off in an all Chatham final for the ‘AAA-AAAA’ LKSSAA girls soccer title Thursday.

This coming after Tuesday’s semi-final match ups, that saw the two teams defeated their North opponents.

UCC beat Sarnia St. Patricks 1-0 on a goal from Emily McFeat in extra time Tuesday to secure their spot in the championship.

CKSS beat Northern 2-0, with Sydnye Gagner and Brooke Mckinnon scoring the goals, while Brittany McLaren recorded the shutout.

In the regular season, CKSS finished first overall with a 6-0 record, while UCC was second with a 4-1-1 record. In their only previous meeting, CKSS defeated UCC 1-0.

In the other LKSSAA finals, Wallaceburg will host St. Clair, while Pain Court will host North Lambton on Thursday.
