UCC Lancers Play Road Warriors In Wallaceburg

The UCC Lancers played road warriors on Thursday shutting out the Wallaceburg Tartans 27-0 at WDSS, remaining perfect in LKSSAA Junior football action.

UCC got on the board early with a safety, before their defense gave them a boost in the second quarter when David Leclair picked off a Wallaceburg pass and returned it for a touchdown. UCC held a 6-0 lead going into halftime.

In the third quarter, UCC continued to build their lead as Alex Noorenberghe punched in a 3-yard touchdown.

In the fourth quarter, Adam Buczynski broke things open for UCC, running in two long touchdowns of 45- and 60-yards.

The UCC Lancers, who now sit at 3-0 in LKSSAA action will play the CKSS Golden Hawks next Friday at 7pm under the lights at Chatham-Kent Secondary School. Wallaceburg will travel to play John McGregor May 8 as well.
