EnviroClean Car & Dog Wash Cougar of the Week: Ethan Baylis
“Ethan Baylis was all over the field on Saturday,” said head coach Selwyn Jordan. ” Ethan was able to showcase his speed and his play making ability. Ethan is a shutdown corner and gives us a lot of athleticism as a Slot/RB and as a returner on special teams.”
Playing both ways in the Cougars’ 27-19 loss to the Forest City Thunderbirds, Baylis had 6 catches for 149 yards and one touchdown, including an exciting 86 yard reception, as well as 63 yards on four carries.
On the defensive side of the ball, Baylis had 4 tackles and 3 kick downs in the game.
On special teams, Baylis returned 3 punts for 40 yards, and had another return of 75 yards called back due to a penalty.
Baylis and the Chatham-Kent Cougars will try to earn their first win this weekend as they travel to play the Brantford Bisons
