Red Devils Win Finale

The Wallaceburg Red Devils won their season finale Sunday, downing the Point Edward Pacers 13-5.

Corey Lucier finished his spectacular regular season with an 8 point game, scoring 3 goals and added 5 assists in the win. Lucier, the Red Devils’ leading scorer, finished the season with 40 goals and 50 assists for 90 points in only 20 games.

Derrick Hastings also had a memorable game, scoring a hat trick and adding 2 assists for 5 points in the win.

Also scoring for the Wallaceburg Red Devils were Brock Redford, Rain Whited, Mitchell Lilley, Justin Scheuneman, Evan Mathany, Brendan Johnston, and Kyle Dawson.

Wallaceburg finished with a 9-10-1 record, second overall in the Far West Division.

They’ll open their 2015 playoffs against the first place, and defending champion Six Nations Rebels who finished the 2015 season with a 19-1-0 record.
