Chatham’s Dan Van Moorsel, owner and founder of Maple City Squash Club in Chatham was recently honoured by Squash Ontario at their Annual General Meeeting.

Van Moorsel, who opened Maple City Squash in 2012, was honoured by Squash Ontario, along with Windsor’s Craig Guthrie, receiving an Outstanding Achievement Award.

Van Moorsel has played a prominent role in recent year’s helping to develop squash programs and tournaments in Chatham-Kent and Southwestern Ontario for youth, adults, and seniors.

Squash Ontario’s Outstanding Achievement Award is annually presented by the Squash Ontario Board of Directors to individuals who have made a significant contribution in time and effort to the game of squash in Ontario.

Maple City Squash Club is located at 36 Hart Place in Chatham, Ontario.
