Wallaceburg Lacrosse Double Header Saturday

Wallaceburg lacrosse fans have been getting spoiled this year.

With the addition of the Sr. B Thrashers club, Memorial Arena has become an even more popular hot spot with the growing tradition of lacrosse in the ‘Burg continuing to be in the spotlight.

This Saturday, Memorial will host a Red Devils and Thrashers double header with special pricing for fans. The Red Devils get under-way at 2pm with the Thrashers following at 7pm.

The 6-9-1 Jr. B Red Devils take to the floor in a battle of 2nd place teams, battling the Elora Mohawks of the Mid-West division, who come into play with an identical record to the Red Devils. The Red Devils’ Corey Lucier continues an impressive season, coming into this weekend’s game with 29 goals and 37 assists, good enough for seventh place among league scoring.

The new-to-us Sr B. Thrashers will welcome Owen Sound, while in search of their first win in their inaugural season in Wallaceburg. Despite starting 0-8, the Thrashers  have four of the top eleven scorers in the league in Kyle Childerhose (9G, 15A), Colin McDowell (10G, 11A), Chadd Murphy (7G, 11A) and Clint LaMarsh (10G, 7A)

Admission for the double header will be $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. The double header pass will get you entry into both games.
