Wallaceburg Wins Big In Devilish Showdown

In another battle of the local lacrosse ‘Devils’, red has been victorious over blue again this season.
The Wallaceburg Red Devils improved to 7-10 on the season with a 20-5 road win throttling the London Blue Devils on Tuesday night.
Corey Lucier continued his career year with three goals and five assists, while Derek Hastings matched Lucier’s eight points with a goal and seven assists. Brock Daughterty and Evan Mathany each had a hat trick for the Red Devils. Lucier ranks seventh among league leaders with 34 goals and 43 assists, totaling 77 points in just 18 games.
Wallaceburg is now 3-0 on the year against London, the last ranked team in the Far West division.
The Red Devils will wrap up the regular season with two match-ups against the rival Point Edward Pacers, including a showdown at Memorial Arena in Wallaceburg tonight. Game time is 7:30. The regular season finale goes in Point Edward this Sunday at 3 pm.
