  • Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad struck gold at the Canadian Age Group Championships on Quebec City. Broad won gold in the 200m Backstroke> She will be back in the pool today representing the Chatham Y Pool Sharks in the 50m and  100m Backstroke as well as the 50m Butterfly and the 50m Freestyle.
  • Brooke McKinnon won top prize in the Jr. Girls Division of the Jamieson Golf Tour in Ridgetown yesterday. McKinnon shot a four over 77 for the win.
  • Andrew Reaume of Wallaceburg was tied for second in the Jr. Boys Division with a 72.
  • The Jamieson Golf Tour continues today in Kingsville.
  • The Wallaceburg Warriors beat the Sarnia Cravins 12-1 last night in Lambton-Kent Ladies Fastball play. Ange Larabee picked up the win on the bump while Randa Gilalty sparked the offense with a three ruin triple
