Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad struck gold at the Canadian Age Group Championships on Quebec City. Broad won gold in the 200m Backstroke> She will be back in the pool today representing the Chatham Y Pool Sharks in the 50m and 100m Backstroke as well as the 50m Butterfly and the 50m Freestyle.
Brooke McKinnon won top prize in the Jr. Girls Division of the Jamieson Golf Tour in Ridgetown yesterday. McKinnon shot a four over 77 for the win.
Andrew Reaume of Wallaceburg was tied for second in the Jr. Boys Division with a 72.
