Bentley Signs With Siskins

Chatham’s Austin Bentley will be suiting up for the Junior B Waterloo Siskins after the local product signed with the team this weekend.

Bentley split last season between the Blenheim Blades and Dresden Kings in the Great Lakers Junior C Hockey League where he scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 35 regular season games.

He then added 4 goals and 3 assists in 11 playoff games with Dresden.

Bentley, a six-foot-one forward will attend Conestoga College this year while he plays for the Junior B Siskens.

Last season, Waterloo finished 4th in the GOJHL’s Midwestern Conference with a 31-12-6 record.

The Siskins travel to face the Brantford 99ers to open their season
