Making The Smart Move To Western

Chatham’s Ian Smart, who had committed to play for the University of Windsor Lancers men’s basketball team, has changed direction and will now attend, and play for the Western University Mustangs.

Smart won the Dave Allin Award last season as the LKSSAA South MVP while playing for the Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks.

Smart averaged 18.5 points and 10.6 rebounds with CKSS last season.

The six-foot-six basketball player helped CKSS win the LKSSAA title last year.
