Hawks Second At Shoot For A Cure

The CKSS Senior Girls basketball team finished second in Bishop Macdonnel’s (Guelph) Shoot for a Cure tournament this past weekend.

CKSS defeated London Westminster, Assumption, and Ancaster before losing to Stratford St. Michaels’s in the final.

The Golden Hawks took a 51-45 win over Westminister, 59-33 over Assumption, and 38-29 over Ancaster, before falling 47-27 to Stratford.

High scorers over the 4 games were Brittany McLaren with 32, Jana Kucera – 27, Loren Koluk – 22 and Logan Kucera – 21.

The team heads to London Catholic Central next weekend.
