Chatham-Kent Athletes Lead Fratmen To OFC Title

The Windsor AKO Fratmen won their third straight OFC Junior Football championship this past weekend with a number of Chatham-Kent athletes in the lineup.

The Fratmen defeated the Ottawa Sooners 21-11 in the win.

Wallaceburg’s Brandon Donkers carried the ball 7 times in the win for 20-yards and caught a 4-yard pass.

Chatham’s Cody St. Pierre had 2 catches for 23-yards.

Clark Green, also of Chatham, kicked two field goals in the win, with a long of 33-yards. He also handled the punting and kick off duties for Windsor. Green was named the games MVP.

Josh Wright played a strong role on special teams, returning the ball 6 times on punt and kick off returns for a total of 69-yards. Tupperville’s Dan Fox also dressed for the Fratmen.

The Windsor AKO Fratmen were a perfect 8-0 in the regular season before defeating London in the semi-finals, before defeating Ottawa for the Ontario title.
