Peewee Cobras Help Goodfellows

The Kent Teksavvy Cobra’s Minor Peewee ‘AA’ team carried out a Chatham tradition this past weekend, supporting to the Chatham Goodfellow’s in their annual “No Child Without A Christmas” event.

The Cobras helped approximately 100 other volunteers to pack boxes of gifts destined for local Chatham-Kent youth this Christmas season.

“The team had a great experience splitting into small groups and picking toys, stuffed animals, and books for kids so they have gifts to open on Christmas Day. As one player said, “it makes me feel good to help other kids,” the Cobras wrote to CKSN.

The team’s efforts equalled gifts and Christmas presents for 50 families in Chatham-Kent.
