The Dresden Midget rep hockey team are OMHA champions!

The Kings took home the championship in fine form on Saturday with a 4-1 win over Tweed to sweep the final series and win the OMHA Midget ‘C’ championship.

The finals win ended a 29-year-drought. The last time a midget team from Dresden won the OMHA title was 1987.\

Dresden outscored Tweed 9-4 in the final.

The team is coached by Derek Fox and managed by Marcel Jennen
