Maroons Open Round 2 Thursday, Home Sunday

The Chatham Maroons will open the second round of the post-season on the road against the number one seeded Leamington Flyers on Thursday night. Memorial Arena in Chatham will see it’s first dose of second round action on Sunday night.

The GOJHL Western Conference Semi-Finals get underway tonight (March 16) with LaSalle visiting London.

The Flyers won the season series over the Maroons 4-2, outscoring Chatham 26-16 in their six-game set.

Leamington only lost eight games through the regular season, two of which were at the hands of the Maroons. The Flyers finished 16 points ahead of the second place London Nationals with a record of 41-8-1-0. The Maroons finished fourth with a very respectable 32-16-1-1 record.

The Maroons box office is open for ticket purchases at 5 pm on home game days.
