CKXS-Morning-Sports-Briefs2 more teams move on in the OHL playoffs.  The Barrie Colts dispatched the North Bay Battalion 4 straight with a 6- Nothing shutout last night. London gave the Kitchener Rangers the opportunity to clean out their lockers as the Knight swept the Rangers with a 6-4 win.

Tryouts for Wallaceburg Girls Minor hockey will be on Sunday.  Tryouts will be starting at 9 am and will run throughout the day for all divisions.  Go to the Wallaceburg Lakers Minor Hockey website for times and divisions

The Wallaceburg Minor Midget Lakers will be celebrating their provincial championship on Saturday with a parade. The team will be leaving the arena around 3:15, proceeding through the downtown area and then out Dufferin Ave. to Walpole Island.

The Wallaceburg Red Devils will be in London on Sunday afternoon.

The Wallaceburg Thrashers are looking for another coach you can go to the Thrashers Website if you would like to apply

Vancouver will host Calgary Saturday night in the National Lacrosse League.

Sr Boys High School Soccer action yesterday, no score between the Lambton Kent Cardinals and NLSS.

It may be a PA Day but Chatham Kent Christian will still face Pain Court in Sr Boys soccer action this evening.

Sr Girls Rugby action a 5 all tie between Blenheim and St Clair.  Northern downed The Chatham Kent Golden Hawks 27-7.
