Chatham-Kent Secondary School athletes Chloe Pugh, Felix Marchand, and Thador Tekhli had a memorable two days at the LKSSAA track and field championships held Tuesday and Wednesday at the Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex.

Chloe Pugh was the midget girls champion after an extremely strong start to her first LKSSAA championship. Pugh blew away the competition, winning the 400m, 800m, and 1500m races.

Felix Marchand and Thador Tekhli, both grade 12 students, shared the senior boys title. Marchand won the 110-m hurdles, and 400-m hurdles.

Tekhli won the 2000m steeplechase and 800m race.

The top 8 finishers from each event Tuesday and Wednesday advance to the SWOSSAA championships, which are scheduled for May 18 in Chatham, and May 19 in Windsor.
