CKXS-Morning-Sports-BriefsThe NHL Playoffs are creating a lot of hype.  A game 7 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay, The St Louis Blues could go home tonight if they lose to San Jose, and Seth Griffith.  Alright he is not in the playoffs but he is still with the Boston Bruins.  Griffith received a 2 way 1 year contract extension with the Bruins worth over $600,000.

Wallaceburg Minor League Baseball is in full swing in U10 Fastball action last night The Wallaceburg Warrior Girls shutout the Port Lambtom Pirate Girls 10 – Nothing.  In River League play the Dresden Tigers dumped the Wallaceburg Mosquitos 11 – 8.  In PeeWee play it was Camlachie over the AarKel Warriors 14 – 3 and Chatham Major Diamonds shutout the Wallaceburg Warriors 10 – nothing.

The Port Lambton Pirates picked up their first win of the season.  They downed Wallaceburg 9 – 2.

Sr Boys High School Baseball action from yesterday LCCVI shutdown UCC 10 – Nothing.

Jr Girls High School Rugby action today will see UCC hosting St Pats.

Tough night for the Wallaceburg Griffins Bantam Lacrosse team they lose 14 – 2 to the London Blue Devils.  The PeeWees got by London 5 – 3.  The Intermediate Griffins are in Windsor tonight, to face the Warlocks.

The Wallaceburg Red Devils are in Point Edwards to play the Sarnia Pacers.
