The Windsor Spitfires will host the 2017 Master Card Memorial Cup. The CHL made the announcement yesterday. The Memorial Cup will be held at the WFCU Center May 18-28.
Why wait til camp do it now. The Chatham Maroons adding players before prospects camp, which is Tuesday night at Thames Campus Arena. The Maroons added Defenceman Jaydon Fetter from Windsor. The 16 year old played for the Midget ‘AAA’ Jr Spitfires. The Maroons also added a forward, Broden Meloche. Meloche is 18 and played with the Amherstburg Admirals. The Maroons are expecting about 80 skaters and 11 goalies at their prospects camp, main camps will start in August.
The Wallaceburg Lacrosse Association is accepting proposals for Lacrosse camps. The Red Devils will face London tomorrow night at home. The Wallaceburg Thrashers are still looking for another assistant coach. Application forms can be found on the WLA website
UCC with wins over WDSS in High School Sr Boys and Girls Soccer, yesterday, it was 1 – Nil in both games. Pain Court doubled up Tilbury 4-2.
Sr Girls Rugby saw UCC shutting out Northern 24 – 0, St Pats scored a 12 – 5 win over Wallaceburg. Today Chatham Kent will host St. Clair’s
On the Jr Girls field yesterday UCC dumped Northern 58 – 5.
