CKXS-Morning-Sports-BriefsThe OHL finals kick off tomorrow night.  The London Knights will face the Niagara Ice Dogs.  Game 1 will be in London.

Dave Wiper will be returning as the head coach of the Wheatley Sharks next season.  Wiper has had good success behind the bench with the Sharks, last year they placed 6th.

The Youth Canada 5 pin Bowling Championship will be this Saturday in Calgary and Chatham native Alexis Dejardins will be looking for top spot as she competes.

There was no score after regulation time in Sr Boys High School Soccer action yesterday between UCC and St Pats.  WDSS and Chatham Kent played to a 2 all tie.  NLSS walked over SCITS 7-1.  On the Sr Girls pitch UCC shut out St Pat’s 3 – Nil, Kennedy King with 2 goals.  The Chatham Kent Golden Hawks doubled up the Wallaceburg Tartans 2-1 and NLSS dumped SCITS 7-2, Selena Dirven with a hat trick in that one.  Today Pain Court hosts SCITS.

In Sr Girls Rugby yesterday The St Clair Colts edged out the Chatham Kent Golden Hawks 15-12.

The LKSSAA all-comers track meet is today at the Chatham Kent Community Athletic Complex.  The finals are set for next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Complex
