Red Devils Split On Road Weekend
The Wallaceburg Red Devils split their weekend games playing two on the road in Elora and
Sunday, facing the Elora Mohawks, Evan Mathany paced the Red Devils offense scoring 4 goals en route to an 11-7 Wallaceburg Red Devils victory.
Corey Lucier found himself in on the majority of Wallaceburg tallies against Elora, record a miraculous 8 assists.
Cam Bechard and Parker Gilhuly each scored a pair of goals in the win, while Bronson Bea, Kyle Dawson, and Tanner Cole also scored.
Eric Shepley made 43 saves in net for the win, which helped Wallaceburg improve to 3-7 on the season.
Saturday, the Red Devils were completely shut down by the Orangeville Northmen, falling 12-1, with Parker Gilhuly scoring the lone Wallaceburg goal in the opening frame. Orangeville controlled the play outshooting Wallaceburg 47-14 in the game.
Wallaceburg will again hit the road this Wednesday to face the Point Edward Pacers.
