Boston Bruins Re-Sign Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith

The Boston Bruins have re-signed Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith to a one-year, two-way contract.

Griffith led the American Hockey League in assists last season, compiling 53 through 57 games, and also scored 24 goals with the Providence Bruins. His 77 points were second overall in the American Hockey League.

Drafted in the 5th round, 131st overall in 2012 by the Bruins, Griffith appeared in 4 NHL games last season, and has 34 career NHL games to his name with 11 points.

Griffith was also named a first-team AHL All-Star in 2016.

Should he compete in the NHL, Griffith’s contract would have a $625,000 salary cap hit in 2016-2017.
