Red Devils Close Out Season With Win, Miss Playoffs

The Wallaceburg Red Devils season came to an end Saturday with a win over the Point Edward Pacers in overtime.

The 12-11 win pulled Wallaceburg closer to the playoffs, but the team missed the postseason by a single win.

Kyle Dawson had a goal and 5 assists in the win, while Evan Mathany had 6 assists.

Corey Lucier scored a hat trick and added a pair of assists, and Carter Hastings had 2 goals and 2 assists.

Parker Gilhuly continued his strong season scoring a hat trick.

Also scoring for the Red Devils were Brayden Fischer, Darby Jacobs, and Preston Whiteye.

The Red Devils finished their 2016 season with an 8-12 record, good for second in the Far West Division.
