Golden Hawks Remain Dominant, Win LKSSAA

The Chatham-Kent Secondary School Golden Hawks senior boys remained dominant on local volleyball courts, winning their third straight LKSSAA ‘AAA’ volleyball title Friday night in front of a packed crowd at CKSS.

CKSS beat their cross town rivals, the UCC Lancers three straight, winning 25-19, 25-16, and 25-15.

The Golden Hawks will now try to advance to OFSAA. They will face St. Anne in the SWOSSAA Thursday, November 17 at 6pm in Chatham. The OFSAA ‘AAA’ championships will take place November 24-26 in Burlington, Ontario.

In the LKSSAA Junior final, the Great Lakes Wolfpack upset the CKSS Junior boys in 5-sets 25-19, 22-25, 11-25, 25-19, 17-15.
