Seth Griffith Back To Leafs
Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been claimed off waivers by the Toronto Maple Leafs for the second time this season, according to Sportsnet.
Griffith will report directly to the Leafs AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
Seth was placed on waivers by the Florida Panthers on Thursday morning. This was the third waiver wire Griffith found himself on this season.
The Chatham-Kent Cyclones product and former London Knight played three games for the Leafs at the NHL level earlier this season before being claimed by Florida.
Through 58 NHL games between 2014-15 and 2016-2017, Seth has 6 goals and 10 assists.
In his last stretch in the AHL, Griffith excelled as a top point producer, totaling 77 points in 57 games for the Providence Bruins.
