Other Junior girls winners were Alison Stephens of CKSS, who threw 32.68 in the discuss event. CKSS’ Marandee Hunter was third throwing 26.72m.
Emma Nicholson of UCC was third in the Junior girls triple jump, with a distance of 9.96m.
At the senior girls level, UCC’s Reece Cowan and CKSS’ Delainey Johnson finished second and third in the 1500m steeplechase with times of 5:57.61 and 5:58.85 respectively.
Wallaceburg’s Amy Nap won the senior girls 100m hurdles, while Ally Oulds of CKSS won the senior girls 400m dash. CKSS’ Rayne Kellier cleared 1.49m in the senior girls high jump, while teammate Mattea Deleary finished second jumping 1.46m. CKSS’ Hannah St. Pierre won the 100m dash running 13.63s.
Finally in senior girls javelin, CKSS’ Jana Kucera finished second throwing 37.97m, while Ridgetown’s Kealy Taylor-Noah was third throwing 35.91m.
In Midget girls, Kirby MacKinnon of CKSS jumped 4.79m to win the long jump.
UCC’s Abby Piatkowski threw 9.61m to win the midget girls shot put, being closely followed by Blenheim’s Kristyn Kistulinec who finished second, throwing 9.43m.
CKSS’ Camille Blain won the midget girls 80m hurdles, crossing in just over 13 seconds, defeating fellow CKSS athlete Sophie Maine who was second.
In the 100m dash, CKSS’ Madeline Douma finished second running 13.69s.
In the 1500m run, CKSS teammates Niveen Tekhli and Anna Trinca battled it out the entire way, with Tekhli winning with a time of 5:24.97, while Trinca crossed in 5:25.14.
On the boys side, UCC’s Tate Bowden finished third in the midget boys shot put event, throwing 11.28m, while JMSS’ Maciah Buchanan was the top finisher, taking third in the 100m dash.
CKSS’ Lars MacDonald won the Junior boys triple jump, leaping 12.15m. Sam Haight of CKSS threw 39.12m to finish second in Junior boys discuss, while Chatham Christian’s Daniel Burggraaf was third throwing 37.01m.
Wallaceburg’s Camden Fischer won the junior boys shot put.
UCC’s Jonathan Cartier won the Junior boys 100m dash, while ESPC’s Aidan Lachine was the top finisher in the Junior boys 400m dash, finishing third with a time of 55.69s.
In senior boys, CKSS’ James Muharrem won the 110m hurdles, crossing in 14.84s, while CKSS’ Thador Tekhli crushed his competition in the 2000m steeplechase, finishing in 6:23.46, more than 17 seconds ahead of CKSS’ Austin McQuiggan who was second.
CKSS’ Ian Cameron was second in the senior boys javelin, while CKSS’ Curtis Godfrey was second in the 400m dash.
