Marley Blommers Commits To Dalhousie
The six-foot-four shooting guard/small forward spent the past two seasons playing prep basketball at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, Connecticut. He averaged 12.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.
Blommers, who played for the CKSS Golden Hawks, and AAU basketball with the Michigan Soldiers prior to Marianapolis, chose Dalhousie for a variety of reasons.
“I really enjoyed Coach Plato’s coaching style and look forward to playing for him and playing with a great group of guys,” Blommers said in a Marianapolis news release. “I hope to win an AUS Championship with them and eventually a National Championship. I hope to make an impact on the team right away.”
While at Dalhousie University, Blommers plans to study Business Commerce.
