Brady Pataki will look to seize a new opportunity this season, as the Wallaceburg product will play for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s (QMJHL) Moncton Wildcats.

The 6’2″ winger recently signed with the Wildcats, after splitting the last three seasons between the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves and London Knights, and finishing last season with the GOJHL’s St. Thomas Stars.

Pataki, 18, returns to Major Junior after playing the final 16 games, and 4 playoff games of the season last year with the St. Thomas Stars, where he had 15 points in 20 games. He also played 30 OHL games with the London Knights and Sudbury Wolves, collecting 3 points.

An alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones, Pataki was drafted 65th overall by the Sudbury Wolves in 2014, and played 152 OHL games over the past three seasons.

Last season, the Moncton Wildcats finished last in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with a 14-51-2-1 record.

The Moncton Wildcats will begin their training camp August 15.
