Maroons Re-Sign D-Man O’Donnell

D-man Jake O’Donnell is returning to the Chatham Maroons

The Chatham Maroons are bringing back defenceman Jake O’Donnell for the 2017/18 GOJHL season.

The 19-year-old Bowmanville native had three goals and 10 assists in just 18 regular season games after being acquired by the Maroons in January.

O’Donnell is looked upon as a key on the blue-line for the Maroons. The 6’2″ ad 195 pound rear-guard was a 4th-round pick of the Sarnia Sting in the 2014 OHL Draft. He has 72 OHL games under his belt.

O’Donnell joins recently re-signed Maroons Nolan VandenBoorn, Bryce Yetman and Dakota Bohn. The Maroons have recently added several new faces including locals Austin Bentley, Nick Delyzer, Grant Spence, Eric Carter, and Dylan Schives, as well as Alixe Saliba from the Wheatley Sharks and OHL veteran Dane Johnstone.
