Hawks Senior Girls Open Season With Tournament Win

The Chatham-Kent Secondary School senior girls basketball team opened the season winning the Great Lakes Secondary School basketball tournament with an undefeated record.

The Hawks defeated St. Thomas Aquinas 41-22, followed by a lopsided win over Villanova 56-15.

CKSS capped off the tournament with a win in the finals over host Great Lakes 53-19.

Avia Stone, Jessica Jordan, and Mary Turner were CKSS’ leading scorers over the weekend.
