CCHS Flames Win Second Consecutive Tournament

For the second straight week, the Chatham Christian Flames senior boys volleyball team captured a tournament title, this time winning the Sarnia Great Lakes Invitational.

In pool play, Chatham Christian finished behind Sarnia Northern, but made a miracle comeback from a 10-3 deficit in the 3rd set of the final to defeat Northern.

Last week, the CCHS Flames won their own invitational tournament with a 2-set win overGreat Lakes S.S. (Sarnia) 25-17, 25-20.

Great Lakes had defeated CCHS in pool play, 2 straight, and advanced to the final with a 2-set win over Petrolia’s LCCVI. CCHS took the semi-final over LKCS, 25-18, 25-20. Providence Christian (London) won the consolation round
over UMEI (Leamington) 25-20, 25-17.
