Lakers Acquire Austin Bentley

The Wallaceburg Lakers have acquired Austin Bentley from the Blenheim Blades

The Wallaceburg Lakers have acquired a legitimate scoring threat and veteran presence, in the form of Austin Bentley.

The Chatham native was acquired from the Blenheim Blades and is expected to debut in the Lakers line-up tonight (Wed, Nov 1) with the Wheatey Sharks in Wallaceburg.

A tough and chippy player, the 6’1″, 205-pound Bentley is a junior veteran, having spent time with both Jr B and C clubs. Most of his playing time was spent with the Blenheim Blades and Dresden Jr Kings.

Bentley has 5 points through 8 games this season and had 10 points in 11 playoff games last season.
