Wallaceburg’s Alec DeKoning opened the scoring for the Sarnia Legionnaires, as they doubled up on the Chatham Maroons Sunday night 6-3.

DeKoning also had two assists, while former Chatham Maroons forward Josh Barraclough had a goal and two assists as well.

Scoring for the Chatham Maroons were newly acquired Justin Badour, who joined the team in a trade from the St. Thomas Stars, as well as Dane Johnstone, another former Stars player, who scored the other Chatham goals.

In his first game back with the Maroons after playing a handful of games for the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires, netminder Lucas Patton took the loss in net.
